The Aylmer Heritage Association maintains records on more than 600 heritage properties in the Aylmer area. Our organization is at the forefront of preserving and protecting several historic sites, including Aylmer Road and the famous landing stage at Queen\u2019s Park<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025 Inventory of Traditional Heritage (Aylmer Sector, City of Gatineau)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
In 2008, the City of Gatineau conducted its first inventory of built heritage, which was subsequently expanded in 2011. A decade later, the City undertook a new inventory to replace the previous one. This project began in 2020 and was completed in 2025, in accordance with the requirements of the Cultural Heritage Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
