Can you believe that the Aylmer Heritage Association will hold its 25th plant sale this June?  

It is our primary fund-raising activity and helps us carry out the Association’s critical work of protecting and preserving Aylmer’s heritage buildings and precious green spaces.

All the healthy well-rooted plants are donated by members and supporters from their own gardens. Each year there are fewer volunteers to visit donors’ gardens to dig up, split and pot perennials.  It’s a great deal of work that we only trust to those with gardening experience who treat the plants with care and leave the gardens in good shape.

We are calling on local gardeners to help us out. Would you please think of the Aylmer Heritage Association this spring when you are in your garden and see perennials that could benefit from dividing. When you split them, we’re asking you to put some aside for the Association. Also, vegetables in pots, herbs, house plants and seedlings would be most welcome.

If you need pots and soil, just give us a call at 819-684-6809, or send an email to associationpatrimoineaylmer@gmail.com and we’ll arrange to drop these off to you.

We’ll give you a time to bring these to the Association, or we can pick them up until late May (the earlier the better as the plants need time to recover and perk up before the June 6 plant sale).

Your contribution will be very much appreciated. At the same time, you will be sharing your garden plants with other gardening enthusiasts in our community.
